I've been exercising my little heart out for weeks now and have become bored with the usual cycle/treadmill/rowing sequence at gym so yesterday I decided I was going to try to start with the Couch-to-5K running program.
Oh my gawd! I've just done my second day and I am DEAD and here I thought I was semi fit. Scratch that idea! BUT! I'm having so much fun. The 20 mins alternating between jogging and walking FLIES by. I just have to hold on to my boobs for dear life before I knock an eye out. Hehe.
The weight loss is going slowly slowly but I have lost centimeters. I've been doing a little bit of weights as well. I've read somewhere that I shouldn't do weights because I won't show losses on the scale but PFFT. Then I'm not going to worry about the scale. I'm enjoying myself. I feel stronger and healthier.

I know this is supposed to be a weight loss blog...
Things are rough atm. Yesterday our power was out from 2-8pm. I wasn't able to cook supper for the hubby as his working hours are erratic and by the time the power came on he was in bed already. The stress levels in the family is high. My hubby is supposed to be moving his office here on monday but he is now not sure how he will be able to carry on working with the blackouts in our area. For some reason the area his office is in atm doesn't have any power outtages. Our local paper has said our area has been load shedded unfairly and that Eskom is rectifying the matter. I'm not so sure about that...
I just hopped on the scale and my weight is up by almost 2kgs. I've stuck to my points. I've exercised as I should. So I'm a little down at the moment.
